Lost Worlds Brewing Oktoberfest

Guests can expect live music, German-inspired food, excellent beer, and plenty of games and competitions throughout the entire shopping center. The event is free and open to the public. Must be over 21 to drink. Doors for the event will open at noon and activities will begin at 3 p.m. with a distinguished guest helping tap the first keg in true Munich fashion. Beginning at 4:30 p.m., attendees can enjoy German sing-along drinking songs, Polka dancing, and chicken dances by OOPS Polka Band on the Metropolitan center stage. In addition, a stein holding contest – or Masskrugstemmen in German – will take place at 6:30 p.m., and guests are encouraged to don their best dirndl or lederhosen for the Dress for the Fest German costume contest at 7 p.m. Lost World’s beer is permitted throughout the Metropolitan for this one-day event. Food options will include classic Oktoberfest bites like brats, sauerkraut, pretzels and more, plus the wide range of restaurants throughout the center. A limited amount of commemorative beer steins will be available for purchase in addition to Bavarian hats, t-shirts, stickers and more.
