This year’s celebration is Saturday September 24 with the following schedule. Lantern workshops open August 30th (see our calendar for the schedule). These workshops are FREE! — with the friendly request that for every lantern you make to take home for yourself, you make two additional lanterns that can be sold at Luminata to support this community event. The lantern shoppe will open at 6 PM on Saturday September 24. You may purchase a lantern here, with all proceeds benefitting the Fremont Arts Council, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. The opening ceremony will begin at 7:30 PM. After the opening ceremony, follow the lead band around Green Lake and join in the illuminated parade! At the end of the parade, some illuminated art will be on display for your enjoyment!
