Nestled in the breathtaking mountains of Western North Carolina, Franklin, a charming mountain town, is abuzz with activity in October, its peak season, as leaf enthusiasts flock from near and far. Against this picturesque backdrop, the Macon Music & Arts Festival, proudly presented by local businesses, celebrates community spirit and welcomes visitors to a free, action-packed event.

As the season draws to a close, our festival brings the community together, featuring an impressive lineup of performing arts, to be announced in June. Expect a mix of familiar faces and fresh talent from local and regional touring artists. But that's not all - our festival also boasts a film festival, comedy tents, and a vibrant showcase of Western North Carolina's thriving arts community.

From painting and crafts to photography, woodworking, and unique Appalachian art, we're calling on local artists to join the celebration. Vendor booths are available for the weekend, with opportunities for our vendors' to capitalize on the area's affluent consumer base, known for their willingness to spend.
