Market Day in Historic Newtown

The Newtown Historic Association presents this annual arts and colonial craft fair. Over 45 crafters, artists and demonstrators will present a wide variety of interesting crafts. Bee keeping, quilting, rug braiding, spinning, jewelry making, fabric art, oil painting and woodcarving. Market Day is a wonderful event that consists of authentic colonial crafts exhibited, demonstrated and sold on historic Court Street and Centre Avenue from 10 am to 4 pm with candle making, a revolutionary war military encampment, open hearth cooking, authentic folk music, children’s activities, games, hayrides and many guest restaurants participating in our Festival of Foods Admission – free.
