Cave Spring, Georgia - The 6th Annual Georgia Mushroom Festival is a 3-day event, combining mushroom education with art, food, music and a little bit of activism. Mycology is the scientific study of fungi! The event will be on September 29 to October 1, 2023, at Rolater Park, 13 Old Cedartown Rd., Cave Spring, Georgia 30124. Rolater Park Opening: 9 am to 4 pm; JAM location: noon to midnight. Enjoy the educational program, the bands, over 150 vendors and experience the joy of being part of a community of like-minded people. Weekend ticket holders have the opportunity to camp and socialize with the mushroom community, listen to our guest speakers from the field of MYCOLOGY, attend interesting workshops, go on mushroom walks with experts in their fields, experience good food, creative vendors and much more. Ticket Prices: $50 full weekend tickets: includes all Rolater Park educational events, as well as the Jam Music Festival. Camping on their field must be booked separately. For security reasons, only weekend visitors can book campsites. $20 weekend tickets include: Rolater Park events only; they include all educational events in the park, but do not include night walks or events at the Jam Field (book early). $10 student special for Rolater Park events; doesn't include the Jam, night walks or other events at the Jam Field. College & high school seniors; proof of age required. Most out-of-town attendees choose to camp at the 14-acre field where the 3rd annual Magic Mushroom Music Jam will take place on Friday and Saturday (see program). RV camping is also available across the street at the Cedar Creek Outdoor Center. Located 4 miles from the AL line and 12 miles from Rome and Cedartown where you can find hotels.
