Promoting plant-based eating, compassionate living, and environmental sustainability, Michiana VegFest 2026 is set to bring the community together for a day of food, education, and inspiration. The annual, volunteer-run festival will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at the Gillespie Conference & Special Event Center, located at 53995 Ind. 933 in South Bend. Offering an accessible opportunity for all to explore plant-based living and connect with local and regional vegan-friendly businesses and organizations, admission is free, however registration is highly recommended through Eventbrite.com. Michiana VegFest continues to serve northern Indiana and southwestern Michigan as a unique, one-day event where attendees can engage with experts in health, nutrition, environmental sustainability, and ethical living — all in one place. Festival highlights include: ? Presentations from nationally recognized speakers and health experts ? Cooking demonstrations with free samples from talented chefs ? A wide variety of vendors offering food, products, and services free of animal ingredients ? An interactive Kids’ Corner with activities designed to educate and entertain The 2026 event will feature Dr. Michael Klaper as keynote speaker, bringing his expertise in plant-based nutrition and preventive medicine to the VegFest stage.
