Mid Michigan's Enchanted Forest Renaissance Festival

Once upon a time, there was a kindly lady who loved to spend time in her forest with her children.  As time passed, the woman’s children grew up and moved away. The lady came to miss the chimes of children’s laughter amongst the trees and desperately wished for the sounds of merriment.

Unbeknown to the lady, a Fairy Godmother resided in the forest, and heard the woman pleas for the sounds of children in the forest.  The Fairy Godmother, who loved children as well, decided to enchant the forest.  The only request that the Fairy Godmother asked of the woman was to hold a festival every July, and the Forest would continue to be Enchanted.  Since the agreement, every July, the gates open and patrons may enter the Enchanted Forest, and partake in the festivities.

Come to the Enchanted Forest, a magical place where fairytales come to life. The lanes of the Enchanted Forest are home to a number of fantasy characters, a variety of entertaining stage shows, many different shops, a food court and a tavern. Every weekend enjoy a scavenger and gnome hunt.   Rain or shine.
