Miguelito Valdés Trio – Cuban Soul on the West Coast The Miguelito Valdés Trio brings the rich rhythms and melodies of Cuba to life with vibrant, all-ages performances rooted in tradition and joy. Led by renowned Cuban trumpeter and vocalist Miguelito Valdés—who has performed with legends like Celia Cruz and Chucho Valdés—the Victoria-based trio delivers a dynamic blend of Cuban son, salsa, bolero, and Latin jazz. The University of Victoria Cuban Salsa Club will be joining us to enliven our massive dancing area. This club is for those who would like to learn and dance a partner dance called Cuban Salsa.
