The 5th annual Monrovia Music Fest is back on Sunday, June 3, 2018 from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Library Park Memorial Fountain on Myrtle Avenue in Old Town Monrovia. The event features a vast array of regional and national music throughout the day, as well as a craft beer garden, food trucks, artisans, vendors, art, free kid's activity booths hosted by nonprofits, and the Bark Park where leashed, friendly dogs are welcome.
In an effort to reignite the community’s birthday celebration tradition, the first Monrovia Music Fest (formerly the Monrovia Days Music Festival) was initiated in 2014 by Monrovian and local business owner, Carole Anne Kaufman, a two-time world champion music whistler known as The Whistling Diva. In 2015, strategic marketing executive Clara Mayer joined the team, and two years later the event was rebranded and expanded. The Monrovia Music Fest has become the biggest music festival in the San Gabriel Valley east of Pasadena.
"We are passionate about bringing communities together through music," said Kaufman.
