Saturday features the Muddy Onion Gravel Grinder. This classic Central VT event is organized by Onion River Outdoors and attracts over 700 riders. Cyclists will tackle Vermont’s scenic dirt roads, choosing from three challenging routes: 20, 40, or 60 miles. Downtown, the Gear Makers Festival showcases Vermont-made outdoor gear, goods and apparel, with opportunities to meet the makers and shop local. Barr Hill will host the Muddy Onion After Party with music, grilling, and of course cocktails. On Sunday, The Mucker Mud Run, hosted by Green Mountain Community Fitness, wraps up the weekend with an adventure through Hubbard Park. Participants can choose from a relaxed 5K hike, a weighted ruck, or a fast-paced run while young adventurers can take on the Mini Mucker course on the Statehouse lawn.
