The purpose of this event is to raise enough funds to continue helping the victims of domestic violence, build a new safe house for the victims, The Pearls program, sexual assault and human trafficking from all backgrounds and raise awareness for our cause. Eliza's Helping Hands strives to bring resources to t he domestic violence victims of Winston-Salem and surrounding areas. Some of the services available through our organization include: -The C.A.R.E. Program (Creating Access to Relationship Enhancement) -Emergency Shelter & Transitional Housing Program (Available July 2016) -Child Care -Ready to Work Program -Trauma-Focused Treatments -Victim Court Advocacy -Voice for Children & Nurturing Families (VCNF) Support Groups -Other Services (i.e. Yoga, Arts & Crafts, Self-Defense Classes) Products: Crisis intervention, safety planning, safe housing, pet safety, need assessment, address confidentiality, information & referrals, community services & legal advocacy, support groups, career counseling, financial counseling, nutritional counseling, child care assistance, trauma-focused counseling, grief counseling, substance abuse treatment, children play therapy, thrift shop, yoga classes, arts & crafts, & self-defense classes.
