Mystic Half Marathon and 10K race on Sunday, May 18, at the beautiful CT shoreline

This special shoreline destination invites participants to an enjoyable stretch of course otherwise hard to access. Starting in front of Olde Mistick Village, the race follows along the water past tall ships and sailboats of Mystic Seaport, over the unique and historic Mystic River drawbridge and through the charming downtown. Runners then enjoy a quieter stretch along River Road before the 10K turns off to finish in front of Mystic Aquarium.

The 13.1 mile journeys along quintessential New England stonewalls, rolling hills and passing views of the Mystic Reservoir and tranquil nature preserves before the finish.

All participants receive a short sleeve technical shirt and a custom designed finisher medal in this year's much-anticipated signature race theme. After the finish, enjoy a stroll through picturesque Mystic and take advantage of some great discounts!

2025 Shoreline Challenge: A twist on the popular race series, the Shoreline Challenge explores three beautiful race courses in participants' distance of choice! Sign up for any distance at the Rocky Neck Runfest in April, the Mystic Half Marathon and 10K in May and then at the Surftown Half Marathon, Relay and 5K to end the summer by the shore in early September. The special Shoreline Challenge commemorative medal will be presented in Westerly at Surftown.

Bring the whole family and enjoy the kids run with options of a ½ mile or 1-mile (for kids ages 2-11)! The HMF FitKids race guides the little ones on short distance courses along walkways of the Village shops.
