Newick's annual food fair marks a decade with live music, 35+ local stalls, and free entry! Newick Food Fair returns to The Green in Newick, East Sussex, BN8 4LA on Sunday, June 28, 2026, celebrating its 10th anniversary with an expanded lineup of local food and drink producers, and with live music from 2pm with Square the Circle. We invite you to come along, shop, meet friends and enjoy a spot of delicious food and drink in a lively and friendly atmosphere. A Decade of Local Food Launched in 2016 by food-loving volunteers, the fair has grown into a fixture of the Sussex summer calendar. Organisers say they remain committed to curating an excellent range of local growers and producers, rather than simply expanding numbers. "We are excited to welcome everyone back to the green for our annual Newick Food Fair. We are also delighted to be welcoming our new stall holders. This year we have a new microbrewery Three Acres and, of course, Newick’s very own Newick Vineyard will be selling their wines for the first time along with other new stalls” the organisers said in a recent announcement." What to Expect Running from 11am to 4pm, the fair will feature: 35+ local food and drink stalls showcasing Sussex producers—artisan bakes, street food, locally brewed drinks, and sweet treats. Hot food stalls and a dedicated picnic area (bring a blanket) Live acoustic music from 2pm with Square The Circle Outdoor Games (giant Jenga etc) Bicycle Smoothies – get fit while making a fresh fruit smoothie Free entry and free parking (Cash donations welcome) The event will raise funds for St Peter and St James Hospice so please bring cash and donate to a very worth cause.
