There will be plenty of live entertainment lined up for this free four-day event with a craft and vendor show that will be set up on Friday, Saturday and Sunday! Several food vendors from near and far will be ready to serve a variety of foods. The North American Midway Carnival will pack the grounds with countless games and rides for all ages. Wristbands may be purchased at time of event.
-Join us Thursday as we kick off Fun Fest with a "Country Celebration". Starting at 6:30 Gary West will captivate and entertain the audience just as his predecessors did by combining great vocals, the reimagining of classics, as well as original songs that seem like standards after the first time you hear them. Following at 9:00PM we will have, The Boys in the Band. This Alabama Tribute show is a high energy show with note for note renditions of Alabama's live performances over their fifty year reign as the greatest country music group of all time.
**City Wide Garage Sales will be Friday, June 13th & Saturday, June 14th starting at 8:00AM. A list of garage sales can be picked up at City Hall and will also be posted our our Facebook page.**
-Set your superstitions aside and come on out for our "Rock Party" on Friday the 13th. Chicago’s newest and most exhilarating cover band, ‘Too Much Molly' will take the stage from 6:30-8:30PM. Led by the fabulous Molly Callinan— known for her incredible vocal range, the band delivers a high-energy show like no other. Then, grab your leather jackets and get ready to rock with the powerhouse tribute band, Poison'd Crue from 9:00PM -11:00PM. From the anthems of Poison, Motley Crue, and Bon Jovi, to the legendary sounds of Guns N' Roses, Def Leppard, Whitesnake, and Tesla, their setlist is packed with the biggest hits from the greatest hair bands of the 80s and beyond.
-Saturday, June 14th, get ready for some 90’s nostalgia! Our first band of the evening, 28 Days, guarantees non-stop dancing and entertainment beginning at 5:30PM. 28 Days, has been captivating thousands of fans with high-energy performances and an unrivaled musical experience. Known for their “Musical Tapas,” they deliver a wide range of genres, including Country, Pop, Classic Rock, R&B, Dance, Disco, and Motown, ensuring a satisfying musical feast for all. At 8:00PM Blank 281 will take the stage and capture the essence of the infamous live performance that Blink 281 fans have come to love! The band plays all of the catchy but angsty radio hits, alongside cult favorites you’ve been dying to hear live. Blank 281 also imitates “all the small things,” down to the goofball videos as well as the stand-up comedy stage banter to give a true Blink concert experience!
-Sunday, June 15th, gather your family and get ready to celebrate Father’s Day starting with our Party in the Park from 2:00-4:00. Entertainment starts with Alathea, an acoustic music duo known for their "Front-Porch-style" music, characterized by original and traditional compositions with eclectic instruments, thick harmonies, and storytelling rooted in their Appalachian Mountain experiences. Following will be Data, McBRIDE & WILLIS (DMW), an aggregation of musicians whose principal members are a part of Illinois’ notable musical history- with all hailing from various parts of the Illinois River Valley. With a play list comprised of classic tunes from pop, rock, country genes well as some original compositions, listeners are certain to hear their favorites and acquire new ones. Wrapping up the night is the, “Best of Madison”, Best Practice from 6:00-9:00PM. All the way from Madison, Wisconsin, Best Practice describe themselves as a "rock/country" band that loves to have fun and get people moving. They are known for their engaging performances and have won the "Best of Madison" award three times.
