OktoberWest Festival Returns to The Westin Kierland Resort and Spa

Country dance fans looking for a hot spot to do some boot-scootin’ and boogie-in’ will find a fun-filled dance floor and plenty more classic country western entertainment when the OktoberWest Festival returns to The Westin Kierland Resort and Spa in Scottsdale. OktoberWest, a signature Kierland After Dark Event, will take place Saturday, Oct. 21, 2023, from 7 to 11 p.m. at the popular Scottsdale resort.

The festival puts a twist on traditional Oktoberfest celebrations, with a modern country-western theme that spans live musical entertainment, interactive activities, and plenty of culinary delights. A highlight of the evening will be a lively performance by Southern Ways, a popular country rock band with a strong regional following and a national headliner to be announced soon.

Against the backdrop of toe-tapping tunes, you’ll have the chance to savor classic country-western flavors, including mouthwatering barbecue, complemented by a selection of refreshing beverages including a beer garden serving ice cold brews, bourbon tasting stations, and specialty crafted cocktails.

A lively deejay will keep everyone moving on the dance floor. If you’re new to country dancing, join a lesson or jump into a line dance and learn as you go. Then two-step your way over to the mechanical bull where you can put your bravery to the test, then show off your skills at corn hole, stop by the photo booth to capture a souvenir photo, and check out the other attractions that will keep the celebration going well into the night.

Attendees can count on an unforgettable night of entertainment, while also contributing to the Scottsdale Charros' ongoing endeavors to champion youth, sports, education, and various charitable causes throughout Scottsdale.
