Old Settlers Family Fun Day - Music We Grew Up With

Join the Palmyra-Eagle Community Band as we take you back, through music, to a time when we were young; when we played records at a friend’s house or listened to the latest music on our AM portable radio. You wore your swim trunks as you biked to the pool or lake with a baseball glove in your basket. The music program will unfold like those pages of that old photo album; “Music of the 50’s”, “Trains Planes and Automobiles”, “How the West was FUN!”, “At the Mickey Mouse Club”, "The Great Herb Alpert”, “The Greatest Generation” and of course a patriotic finale. There is something for everyone in this family friendly event. Mark your calendars for Sunday, August 13, at 7pm as The Palmyra-Eagle Community Band takes you back in time (all without a DeLorean). The concert is part of "Old Settlers Family Fun Day" and is sponsored by the Powers Memorial Library, the Palmyra Historical Society and the American Legion.
