Join us for our "Island Time" Christmas Parade on Saturday 21 November as we celebrate the start of the 2020 festive season in Onehunga.

Starting from 11am, the parade runs for approximately 45 minutes from the corner of Onehunga Mall and Arthur Street down to Princes Street before returning back along the mall to Arthur Street.

This annual family event promises to be lots of fun with Island Time themed floats, lively bands and dancers plus a host of colourful characters including Santa Claus himself.

There’ll be free festive activities including face painting, balloon twisting and Christmas craft for the kids from 11am until 1pm by the Onehunga Police Station.

Plus, there'll be the chance to meet Santa as he roams Onehunga Mall after the parade finishes.

Social distancing at the Parade will be allowed for and mask-wearing encouraged if we are at Alert Level Two.

We also encourage you to walk, cycle or catch public transport to the Parade.

This event is proudly sponsored by Onehunga Business Association and the Maungakiekie-Tamaki Local Board with support from Onehunga Community Patrol and Clean Events.
