Start: Saturday, March 29, 2025 7:30PM
End: Saturday, March 29, 2025 9:30PM

The Fairfield County Chorale will present the most beloved opera songs of all time on the evening of March 29 at Norwalk Concert Hall.  Guest artists include Kathryn Lewek, a coloratura soprano who has starred in productions at the foremost opera venues worldwide, from New York's Metropolitan Opera to Austria's Salzburg Festival. She is renowned for singing the Queen of the Night's show-stopping aria from The Magic Flute. Also performing is Zach Borichevsky, a celebrated tenor who performs internationally and recently sang in the Metropolitan Opera's production of Rigoletto.

Music Director David Rosenmeyer will conduct this concert of timeless treasures.
The program encompasses the greatest composers of opera's golden age. Verdi, perhaps the most widely praised composer of that time, is well represented, with arias and choruses from Rigoletto, La Traviata, Il Trovatore and Nabucco, which includes the classic Va Pensiero. The concert brings in a chorus and arias from the Bizet's Carmen, the best-known opera of the 19th century,

The FCC Orchestra will perform the overture from Rossini's famous Il Barbiere di Siviglia (The Barber of Seville). Audience members will be thrilled to hear Nessun Dorma, the moving aria from Puccini's Turandot.  The concert also presents a chorus and aria from Gounod's Romeo and Juliet and songs from Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor.

The Norwalk Concert Hall, renowned for its exceptional acoustics and elegant ambiance, serves as the perfect venue for this extraordinary evening. Located at 125 East Avenue, Norwalk, CT, the hall offers a comfortable and immersive concert experience for all music enthusiasts.

Tickets - available on FCC's website, by phone, or by mail - are $35 in advance, $40 at the door, $5 for students. Group rates are available on request. To purchase tickets online, and for more information, visit the Chorale's website at fairfieldcountychorale.org.

An exclusive VIP meet and greet will follow the concert; limited tickets will be available for purchase.
