Intended as a family fun event, the Oregon Coast Honey Lovers Festival will have plenty for all ages to enjoy. The event will feature the opportunity to taste a variety of locally produced honeys and meads, as well as to learn about attracting pollinators to the garden, beekeeping, bee species and behaviors, and much more.
Admission for events from 10:00 to 4:00 is $5/person | Children ages 12 and under Free. The schedule includes speakers, displays, vendors, children's puppet shows, honey and mead tastings, information on beekeeping, pollinators, pollinator-friendly landscaping, special dishes and beverages featuring honey, and themed goods and crafts about town.

Dr. Sagili on Honey Bees: Insights on Some Fascinating Bee Behaviors and the Africanized Bee
Andrea Shonnard on Designing a Pollinator Garden
Fred Selby on The Medicinal Properties of Honey.
From 6:00 to 9:00 attend a Honey Hoedown for a $5 entry fee. This event includes a bonfire, live music by Red Diesel, and food and drink will be available for purchase.
In addition, many local merchants and restaurants throughout the village will participate in the honey and pollinator theme offering chef's specials and a variety of beautiful products.
