Our Lady of Lourdes Annual Parish Festival Set for September 16 and 17 (Montoursville,)-- Great food, fun activities, and music will once again highlight the celebration of community that has become the hallmark trait of the Our Lady of Lourdes Annual Parish Festival. September 16 and 17, 2022, mark the return of the yearly event always eagerly anticipated by the city of Montoursville and its neighbors Held outside in the parish parking lot at 100 Walnut St, Montoursville, this year’s festival returns with tried-and-true favorite activities, food, and entertainment. The fun begins at 5:00 pm each night and runs through 9:00 pm. Each evening offers events for kids and adults to enjoy such as a train ride, children’s games, the ever-popular basket raffle, pumpkin stand, cake wheel, and wine wheel. Attendees will never go hungry as the festival offers traditional food favorites such as hamburgers, hot dogs, fresh-cut French fries, hot sausage sandwiches, funnel cakes, walking tacos, fresh-squeezed lemonade, ice cream, and homemade pie. Additionally, the festival will offer two menu specials. Friday night features a dinner with a barbecue beef brisket sandwich, baked beans, and pasta salad. Saturday night highlights an authentic Polish menu with mouth-watering homemade pierogies, stuffed cabbage, haluski, and dessert. Diners will enjoy entertainment each night to accompany their meals. Solo singer and acoustic guitar player Alan Foust will perform a variety of music favorites from 6:00 pm through 9:00 pm on Friday, and soloist Lenny Weber and his guitar will entertain with his interpretations of classic ’70s, ’80s, and ‘90s music from 6:00 pm through 9:00 pm on Saturday.
