Some years, the river is low, and we choose a table site alongside the apple trees or near the ripe strawberries. This time around, late winter rains have nourished both watershed and wildlife. A table set alongside the flowing water showcases fish, fowl, and an occasional larger denizen. The Everett farm tour is divided in two. Take your pick — Rich and Laura Everett are both wonderful field guides. We have visited Everett Farm for more than a decade, and it’s always a delight.
