This one-day, 12-hour party celebrates the enduring legacy, music, and cultural impact of the P-Funk universe, bridging funk’s past, present, and future through legendary originators, iconic alumni, and forward-thinking artists carrying the groove forward.
Artists and bands taking part in this day-long musical celebration include the legendary architects of funk music, blending rock, soul, and sci-fi mythology into a genre-defying movement, George Clinton & Parliament-Funkadelic. With more than 40 R&B hits, multiple platinum albums, and a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction, Clinton’s influence spans generations and his legendary live shows remain among the most extravagant and electrifying in music history.
Grammy-nominated Afro-Cuban funk innovator Cimafunk fuses Cuban rhythms, African traditions, funk, soul, and hip-hop into an explosive live experience. Cimafunk delivers high-octane performances rooted in groove, liberation, and musical miscegenation. His acclaimed albums Terapia and El Alimento have positioned him as a global force reconnecting music tradition across continents.
