Paddle Fun Day

Come try out paddling a canoe, kayak, packraft or SUP paddleboard at a FREE, safe, fun event at Goose Lake in Anchorage. Bring your friends and family - no previous paddling experience required. Plus there will be free hot dogs (11:00-1:00). People will be there to help you fit your life vest, get in and out of the boat, and maybe even offer paddling tips. All boaters will get a safety briefing, wear a life vest and sign a waiver. Sponsors are AK Office of Boating Safety, Alaska Pacific University, Knik Canoers and Kayakers, American Canoe Association and REI.
