This is the Papa Joe Smiddy Mountain Music Festival which is held on the Sunday before Labor Day and has been since 2002. Performers for the event are Dr. Joe Smiddy and Reedy Creek, Martha Spencer and the Wonderland Band, The Boys from Bristol and the Virginia Boys. The event will kick off at 5 PM and will conclude around 9 PM. Seating is available under the covered amphitheater and on the grass up hill from the amphitheater. There will be food and other vendors and concessions available at the event. Admission is free, the park charges $5 for parking which is valid all day.
