Parksville Beach Festival’s Grand Finale Featuring The Naden Band of the Royal Canadian Navy

Tickets go on sale May 15 through the MAC Box Office for this celebratory event that takes place on Sunday, August 17, and marks the grand finale of Beach Festival 2025, held under the whimsical theme “Circus by the Sea.” With no opening act, audiences can enjoy two hours of an inspiring and masterful performance from one of Canada’s most esteemed military bands. Comprised of 35 full-time professional musicians, the Naden Band has been representing the Royal Canadian Navy since 1940. Based out of CFB Esquimalt, and under the baton of Lieutenant (Navy) Ben Van Slyke, the band provides musical support for military ceremonies, official state functions, and community events across British Columbia. Their dedication to musical excellence and public engagement includes collaborations with the Victoria Symphony, University of Victoria, and the Canadian College of Performing Arts. The Parksville Beach Festival Society is thrilled to offer this very special concert to close this year’s festivities.
