ParktoberFest! Park it at ECLP on Saturday, October 7, 2023 ParktoberFest is back for its third year of food, fun, friends, and “fest.” Join the fun on Saturday, October 7, 2023, from noon until five. Festivities will take place on the lawn of Middlegate House (beside Cabell’s Mill) located at 5235 Walney Road in Centreville. Take in great performances by The Walkaways and Lucas Mason. Sample cold brews from local favorite Ono Brewery, dine at the food trucks, and shop from community artisans, artists, makers, bakers, and specialty vendors. Bring a blanket so you can stay a while and enjoy a day at the park listening to live music with family and friends. Free parking is available in the new Woodlands Stewardship Education Center parking lot, the lot beside Walney pond, and at the Walney Visitor Center (walk down the trail to the Mill) but walking and biking to the site are naturally encouraged.
