On Saturday, June 7, 2025, step back in time and experience living history on America's oldest residential street! Now in its 90th year, Elfreth's Alley Fete Day is the annual celebration where residents open their private 18th- and 19th-century homes to the public, offering a rare glimpse of life past and present along this iconic cobblestone lane.
Explore how generations of Philadelphians have preserved—and lived within—these remarkable homes. Throughout the day, enjoy live music, historical reenactors, artisan crafters, storytellers, and children's activities bringing the Alley's rich past to life. Whether you're strolling the street, stepping inside a home, or chatting with historians and neighbors, this is an unforgettable opportunity to experience history in the heart of the city.
