Come enjoy a one-off, complimentary screening of the movie Life in the Doghouse on March 24th, at the elegant Strand Theater in Clinton, to support Phinney's Friends -- a Massachusetts based nonprofit that helps low-income people keep their pets.
The movie screening is being sponsored by Maureen Harmonay of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Bolton as a gift to Phinney's Friends and to the Community.
Heralded by The Boston Globe as “heartwarming and thought-provoking,” this movie tells the tale of Danny Robertshaw and Ron Danta, who together started a Danny & Ron’s Rescue, focused on recovering and re-homing abused and neglected dogs from South Carolina and Florida.
The screening will be held in the historic Strand Theatre, one of Central Massachusetts’ “best kept secrets,” and one of the oldest existing theatres in the area. Your whole family will love watching the movie in this beautiful theatre that houses one of the largest screens in Worcester county.
Donations to Phinney's Friends will be accepted on-site, to help impoverished Massachusetts residents keep their beloved pets while going through hardships.
If you are planning on attending, please RSVP with the number of guests by March 21st to Maureen Harmonay at

Phinney’s Friends
Phinney’s Friends does everything in its power to keep pets and their beloved owners together – its volunteers educate pet owners, take their animals to the vet, foster pets when owners are hospitalized, walk dogs and care for cats on a regular basis. Most of the people Phinney’s helps live with a chronic illness or disability, or have pets who need constant help. The organization also distributes pet food and supplies to cats and dogs whose owners are going through a financial hardship and helps pay vet bills.
