Who will take home the Trophy this year?

Originally hosted by the Alexander Graham Bell House Bed and Breakfast, the Annual Croquet Tournament in Colonial Beach moved to Town Hill after the Bell House was sold. We gather once a year to play croquet, have a cocktail, and enjoy some food. This year's event is on Saturday, September 7th with a rain date of Sunday September 8th.

No experience necessary! We just have a lot of fun while raising money for the Rescue Squad. We still have room for players and we need volunteers to help set up and break down, sell food and beverage tickets, mix drinks, service wine, beer, food, etc. As of 8/31/24, only 18 Player Slots are left. ALL PLAYERS MUST WEAR WHITE! We play under USCA 9-Wicket (aka Long Grass or Back Yard) Rules. The rules can be downloaded here https://bit.ly/9WCroquetCBVA.

The entry fee is $35 per player per preliminary match. The entry fee is a donation to the Colonial Beach Volunteer Rescue Squad (you are welcome to donate more than $35). RAIN DATE: Sunday September 8th, 2024.

A maximum of 36 Pre-Registered Players will be randomly assigned to 6 Preliminary Matches to be played at 9, 10, and 11 AM. The winner of each Match will play for the Alexander Graham Bell Trophy in the Final Match at 1:00.

Bloody Marys, Mimosas, sodas, beer, and water will be available for purchase from 9 AM until 3:00 (or until sold out). Lunch will be available for purchase during the lunch break from 12:00 to 1:00.
