Polk County Ramp Trump Festival

The Ramp Tramp Festival will celebrate its 68th year on Friday, April 24 & Saturday, April 25, 2026 at Camp McCroy 4-H Camp. This FREE two-day event features live bluegrass, folk, rock-and-roll oldies music. The traditional Ramp Meal, including Ramps in eggs, white beans, cornbread, fried potatoes, and streaked meat bacon will be available for purchase. Friday evening is Bluegrass & Beans, beginning at 6 p.m. Then Saturday, there is more live music and an outdoor crafts festival beginning at 10:00 a.m., with a sit-down served from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Bagged ramps are available for sale until they are sold out. All proceeds go for the operation and maintenance of Camp McCroy 4-H Camp. The Polk County Ramp Tramp Festival was started in 1958 by 4-H club members and volunteers who "tramped" up the Big Frog Mountain in Polk County, TN, to enjoy a hike on a spring day and a ramp meal. Today, the same traditional spirit lives on during the annual Polk Count Ramp Tramp Festival. Awards: Presented to the Oldest, Youngest, Largest Family and the one traveling the farthest to attend.
