Step into Detour Productions' latest immersive experience, Pompeii, where performance and reality blur across a sprawling, multi-level world. Inspired by Bob Fosse's iconic choreography and movie musical characters, Pompeii invites audiences to explore bold drag performances, high-energy dance, and immersive soundscapes.

This choose-your-own-adventure production allows audiences to roam freely, discovering moments of dazzling spectacle and quieter connections. Drawing from Fosse's legacy, Pompeii weaves intricate choreography, electrifying performances, and layered storytelling into a dynamic, ever-shifting experience.

Through the lens of theater, drag, and vaudeville, the production celebrates the richly layered vitality of queer sanctuary spaces, even as catastrophe looms near. Pompeii is a reflection on beauty, resilience, and community in the face of constant uncertainty.
