Join us at the Closter Nature Center for a fun-filled community day the whole family will enjoy! Whether you’re a kid or just a kid at heart, there’s something for everyone at this beloved annual event. Enjoy an afternoon of exciting activities and entertainment, including: Live Music – Sit back, relax, and enjoy local musical talent. Canoe Rides on the Pond – Paddle around scenic Ruckman Pond! Creative Arts & Crafts – Let your imagination run wild. Tie-Dye T-Shirt Station – Make and take home a colorful keepsake. Pond Science Exploration – Discover the wonders of pond life with hands-on activities. FREE Admission! Many of the activities are free of charge and open to all ages. Your generous donations help support the Closter Nature Center’s vital environmental education programs and ongoing community initiatives. We can’t wait to see you there! Want to help make our Pond Celebration a success? We need volunteers for set-up (11 am start), event stations, and clean-up (4-5 pm).
