In more than 190 countries, Earth Day is celebrated on April 22 with over six million Canadians joining in the annual global event by taking part in activities that protect the environment.
We celebrate Earth Day with a free celebration featuring environmental education booths, giveaways and practical opportunities for residents to support sustainable living at home.
Port Coquitlam residents will need to bring proof of residency to be able to obtain free bark mulch, free compost or to purchase a rain barrel.
