Part of Portland’s popular culture for more than a century, the Portland Rose Festival has its roots in tradition while its programming is both contemporary and nostalgic. Over three weekends starting May 24th, the Rose Festival hosts a CityFair on the downtown waterfront, three iconic parades, Dragon Boat races, a Festival Court, a small business event, and so much more. Every year we welcome over 500,000 people to Portland as a part of the Festival as we showcase 120+ community and cultural groups, 80+ music artists, 50+ local businesses, and all the weird Portland is known for.
