Start: Monday, April 19, 2021 9:00PM
End: TBD
Bicycle Day, the unofficial holiday amongst psychonauts celebrated worldwide, returns to SF for another epic trip down the rabbit hole on Sunday, April 19th at The Midway SF.Presented by Euphonic Conceptions & The Legion Of Bloom, San Francisco’s Bicycle Day Celebration is not only a concert, but a petri dish of creativity, inspiration, and sensory stimulation. World-renowned live painters, an immersive art gallery and exhilarating performances play a large role in this annual festivity that is always packed to the brim with heart-opening experiences. This years’ installation of the holiday features Northern California’s most esteemed instrumental electronic rock band, STS9. They’ll be playing a very special all improv “Rave Spell” set, and for the first time ever, featuring live visuals by Android Jones.Joining them on the lineup are the forward-thinking, mysterious beat maker Thriftworks, the Bristol UK funk-infused bass duo Koan Sound, the glitchy downtempo project of co-founder & rhythm section of Beats Antique, Sidecar Tommy, and the ethereal, cinematic sounds from Portland-based producer VOLO. Also featuring a side room takeover curated by community favorite Raindance Festival, Bicycle Day 2020 is shaping up to be the most legendary yet.
