Is relaxing, having fun, enjoying good food and listening to great live music over the weekend ‘The Plan’? If so, we have exactly what you need at the Premiere of the Englewood Shrimp & Music Festival in Englewood, FL. Dates of this shrimp and music festival are March 11-13, 2022. The fun and relaxation all begins Friday Evening 4pm-10pm, continues Saturday 11am-10pm and concludes Sunday 11am-6pm. Admission is FREE! The event is produced by Paragon Festivals in association with Theatre Odyssey and Sarasota County.
Due to construction in Dearborn Street Plaza, the event is moving to the Englewood Plaza at 200 S. Indiana Avene (SR 776), just blocks south of downtown Dearborn Street.
Choose your foods from a diverse menu of seafood, meat and vegetarian dishes all cooked fresh on-site by local restaurants and food purveyors. Seafood dishes are prepared using only the freshest local and sustainable ocean resources from the Florida Gulf Coast. Select from a diversity of side dishes and of course - awesome desserts! Liquid refreshments include selections of alcoholic, non-alcoholic and fruit drinks along with soda and bottled water.
While relaxing to a great meal, listen to some of Florida’s top musical groups from such genres as R&B, blues, jazz, rock and Caribbean Sounds. Examples of the types of performers and music styles typically found in Paragon events include: Albert Castiglia (blues), The Hummingbirds (country, blues), Kara Nally (blues, funk, soul), Jonathan “Boogie” Long (Southern-inspired blues), Damon Fowler (blues), David Chastain Band (blues), Twinkle & Rock Soul Radio (rock, soul) and J.P. Soars & The Red Hots (Americana, roots). The Band Performance Schedule will be posted in the column to the right as the event approaches so please check back. During breaks between performances, enjoy time shopping a marketplace of fine arts, crafts and select find products and food items. Samples of the types of items you may find at the event are shown in the column to the right.
