?????? Pride in the Park Returns to Gig Harbor – Now in Its 3rd Fabulous Year! Gig Harbor, WA – Pride Gig Harbor is thrilled to announce the return of Pride in the Park on Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Skansie Brothers Park, right in the heart of Gig Harbor’s historic waterfront district. Now in its third year, this free, family-friendly celebration continues to grow — bigger, bolder, and more fabulous than ever. With the stunning harbor as the backdrop, this year’s theme, “Cirque du So-Gay,” invites everyone to embrace queer joy, creativity, and self-expression through a day filled with entertainment, connection, and community pride. What to Expect: ?? Drag performances by local and regional talent ?? Aerialists and circus acts in true Cirque fashion ?? Live music and DJs ?? Inspirational speakers and emcees ?? Food and ?? sweets from local vendors ??? Queer-owned and artisan merchandise booths ?????? Nonprofit resource and community org booths ?? Kidz Carnival with games, crafts, and face painting The festivities begin with the Narrow the Divide Bridge Walk — a symbolic walk across the Tacoma Narrows Bridge to promote unity and visibility. Walkers meet at Connection Therapy Center (1613 Stone Drive NW, Gig Harbor, WA 98335) before heading to the park to kick off the celebration. Founded in 2023, Pride Gig Harbor is a volunteer-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to creating inclusive spaces and uplifting LGBTQIA+ voices in the South Sound. Through Pride in the Park and other advocacy efforts, we aim to foster a safer, more connected, and more visible community for all identities. ??
