ANDREW’S CHURCH TO KICK OFF FALL WITH ANNUAL PUMPKINS & PETS EVENT [LONGMEADOW, MA, September 27, 2021] - St. Andrew’s Church of Longmeadow invites the community to join in for their official kick-off to Fall at its Annual Pumpkin and Pets on the Hill event on Saturday, October 9, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at 335 Longmeadow Street, Longmeadow, MA. Pumpkins, baked goods and lunch will be available for purchase. This year’s event will include craft vendors, themed basket raffles, glitter tattoos, and the signature activity – “Blessing of the Pets” by Rev. Charlotte LaForest, Rector of St. Andrew’s. “This event is a joyful way to have fun together, enjoy the beautiful seasonal weather, and helps bring the community together,” LaForest said. “This year is particularly special for us, as we are also kicking off our Centennial celebrations, which will continue throughout the year as we commemorate the founding of St. Andrew’s right here on this very hill 100 years ago.” This is a public event, and families from the area community are welcome to attend and bring their pet or stuffed animal for a blessing. Participants are expected to observe safe social distancing practices and wear masks.
