Purbeck Guitar Festival 2026 at the The Walled Garden, Upton Country Park, Poole Saturday 23 & Sunday 24 May | Bank Holiday Weekend Enjoy two days of outstanding live guitar music in one of Dorset’s most beautiful outdoor venues, headlined by legendary singer-songwriter Donovan, the iconic voice behind timeless classics that helped define the psychedelic era and influence generations of artists. Following hugely successful festivals in 2024 and 2025, the Purbeck Guitar Festival returns bigger than ever, celebrating the guitar in all its forms at the stunning Walled Garden at Upton Country Park — a restored Victorian garden offering a truly magical setting. Rock-It Saturday – Live Music, BBQ & Bar on Saturday 23 May An electrifying day of rock, blues and contemporary guitar featuring an exciting mix of legendary performers and rising stars. Highlights include: Donovan (headline act), The Story of Guitar Heroes, Gary Cain, Galaxy Thief, Chris Corcoran, Laura Snowden (with Loz Garratt) and Callum Buckley. Enjoy a locally sourced BBQ and bar serving award-winning burgers, meats, fish and vegan options, alongside local ales, wines and soft drinks. All located in the charming cobbled stable yard beside the Walled Garden. Spanish Sunday – Flamenco, Classical & Latin Fire on Sunday 24 May A vibrant musical fiesta blending flamenco, classical guitar and world influences. Highlights include: Rebeca y Ramón, Juan Martín, Flamenco Meets Maqam, Carlos Bonell, Flamenca! and Miki Cruz. Enjoy classic Spanish tapas alongside local beers, wines and soft drinks in the adjoining stable courtyard. Supporting Dorset Wildlife Trust: The festival proudly supports Dorset Wildlife Trust, with guest speakers across the weekend. 20% of all profits will be donated.
