"Remarkable Susan" play & 24 Remarkable Wyoming Women

The League of Women Voters of Cheyenne will perform "The Remarkable Susan," a one-act play about suffragist Susan B. Anthony's 1873 trial for casting a ballot. The production is a featured afternoon event at 3 p.m. at the Wyoming Capitol's auditorium as part of Wyoming’s 250th celebration. Following the play "The Remarkable Women of Wyoming," a living history presentation in the Capitol Extension hallway will feature 24 Remarkable Women of Wyoming including historical and contemporary figures as part of Wyoming's 250th Capitol celebration. Those attending will receive a special keepsake passport to be stamped. This free community program is a wonderful opportunity to learn about the struggle for voting rights and the pioneering individuals who shaped our state and nation.
