It is a real pleasure to welcome this year’s RAM Harp Ensemble to this year's Pinner Music Festival, after the success of their predecessors at PMF24. Featuring elements from Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake, and Dance of the Hours by Ponchielli, the concert also includes Three Dance Sketches by Richard Bissill, and Paul Patterson's Avian Arabesques. The Royal Academy Harp Ensemble was formed in 1993 by Professor Skaila Kanga to give students opportunities to perform in a harp orchestra with newly commissioned works. To date they have commissioned over 40 new works.
