Searsport's Fling into Fall

Join Searsport for their Annual Fling into Fall celebration beginning on Friday, October 6th with pumpkin decorating at Carver Memorial Library and wrapping up on Saturday, October 7th with a country dance, with full days of festivities in between. On Friday, decorate pumpkins at Carver Memorial Library. That evening at the First Congregational Church of Searsport an Italian Supper will take place to benefit the Mosman Memorial Park Walkway Project. At 6pm, Anni and the Rainmakers will go live at the Searsport Public Safety Building followed by a bonfire. Saturday will kick off with the Barney Hose Company Car Show and Craft Fair at Searsport High School at 9am. Throughout downtown Searsport, there will be Scarecrow and Pumpkin Competitions, a Searsport Historical Tour, as well as food and vendors. The Fling into Fall parade will begin at 11am on Main Street. From 11am to 2pm, there will be a Block Party at Mermaid Plaza. Chili, Chowder, and Apple Pie Contests plus local vendors, games, bounce houses, hand painting, and more at the Public Safety Garage that afternoon. Be sure to explore Searsport's unique galleries during the Art Walk from 3pm to 6pm plus special discounts at Searsport area businesses. Fling into Fall will wrap up with a BYOB country dance with The Wildwoods Band at the Searsport Community building from 6pm to 9pm.
