Seaside Senior Expo Healthcare Resource Fair September 6, 2024 Galveston, TX

The Seaside Senior Expo is a FREE event for the Galveston County area's older adults and family caregivers. Come and learn about local services and resources focused on the needs of the aging population. Vendor Fair is from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 pm with over 50 tables providing nformation and local resources. Free health screenings are provided by Galveston County Health District and flu shots are available with a Medicare card. Local senior care professionals will provide education sessions that include: 9:30 - Geriatric Care Management (Andrea Zaite) and Geriatric Medicine (Dr. Lee Grumbles) 10:15 - Medicaid for the Middle Class (Attorney Connor Ard) 11:00 - Estate Planning;More Than Just Important Papers (Attorney Kim Hegwood). Attendees who complete a vendor fair bingo card will be eligible for a box lunch and fantastic prize drawings. Singer Mickey Hobbs will provide musical entertainment for all.
