After almost a decade of hosting the wildly successful SEED Food & Wine Festival in Miami, SEED is thrilled to find a new home in Austin, a city that boasts a dynamic mix of local farmers, food artisans, and innovative chefs who are passionate about sustainable and health-conscious living. Named the Top Three Food and Wine Festivals in the country by USA Today, SEED promises a culinary experience unlike any other, showcasing the best in plant-based foods, wines, spirits, chefs, restaurants, authors, athletes and visionaries from Texas to every corner of the country. Attendees can expect an exciting array of events and activations throughout the week, including a plant-based taco competition, cooking demonstrations, wine tastings, celebrity chef dinner, craft beer and spirits tastings, live music, fitness + body care, yoga, a kid zone and so much more. SEED Austin has also announced that they have officially partnered with the Central Texas Food Bank for their inaugural fest and will be donating proceeds from their ticket sales, as well as the contributions from an online auction, to the food bank. On Saturday, Oct. 25, SEED Austin will host the 2025 SEED GRAND TASTING VILLAGE taking place at Moody Amphitheater at Waterloo Park, (located at 1401 Trinity St. Austin, TX 78701), from 12 - 6 p.m. Attendees will get to sample unlimited bites of mouthwatering plant-based dishes, refreshing drinks, and bold brews from over 100 top-notch restaurants, bakeries, brands and bars, hear a phenomenal lineup of celebrity speakers, catch live cooking demos, participate in wellness sessions throughout the day and hear live music on the Moody stage. Exhibitors include Credo Queso, Rowdy Girl Sanctuary, Misunderstood Whiskey and their Oatrageous diary-free liqueur, Guayaki Yerba Mate, Birdman Protein Powder, Yaygit, Maizly, Malk + The Real Cereal, Blue Zone Kitchen and many more to be announced. The event will be a celebration of health, wellness, and conscious living, sure to inspire and connect festival goers to their community through plant-based food.
