Thursday July 31, 7:30-9p in The Orange Peel's comedy basement. PULP is a bourbon speakeasy (400+ varieties) located under the iconic stage. Headliner Jordan Julius is a Charlotte-based comedian and the winner of the 2024 Slice Standup Comedy Pageant, of which 20 great regional comics competed. He is a stand-up comedian fueled by caffeine, anime, and the kind of life choices that make great material (eventually). Blending pop culture, slice-of-life chaos, and way too many hours spent gaming, Jordon’s comedy hits that sweet spot between nostalgic and unhinged. Sarah Love is a comedian based in Asheville, North Carolina. She’s performed all over the region including at Zanies Lab in Nashville, featured at The Comedy Zone Greenville, and is a regular on Don’t Tell Comedy shows across the Southeast. She is a wry yet kinetic comic with a rebellious streak. Her comedy is blunt, relatable, and just unhinged enough to keep you on your toes.
