Slingshot, the international nexus for music, electronic art, and technology in the South, has moved from Athens, GA to the up-and-coming music hotbed of Durham, NC.

Andy Stott, the Manchester-based DJ and techno composer has progressed from making high-quality dub techno to exploring singular and more adventurous strains integrating hardcore techno, post-punk, and dream pop -- among other inspirations -- that have evoked feelings ranging from dread to exhilaration. Mexican-American producer, Debit (who stands at a unique intersection in electronic music), is also part of the May 8th lineup
