Bridgwater’s Snowflakes and Shopping Christmas Lights Switch-On returns on Saturday 22 November 2025, bringing festive cheer to the heart of the town. The celebrations begin at 10.00am at Cornhill and High Street, where visitors can soak up a lively festive atmosphere filled with market stalls, street food and seasonal entertainment. As daylight fades, excitement builds for the grand Christmas lights switch-on, where at 5.45pm Father Christmas will lead the way before the lights are officially switched on at 6.00pm by Mayor of Bridgwater, Cllr Kathy Pearce and the Bridgwater Town Team competition winner - a young person recognised for helping to make Bridgwater a brighter community.
