Featuring:
Louisa Stancioff
Born and raised in the foothills of Western Maine, Louisa Stancioff brings an emotional depth and ethereal honesty to her music. Growing up surrounded by instruments and steeped in Balkan traditions from her family heritage, Louisa's sound blends timeless folk roots with poetic, cinematic tenderness. After years of gathering songs across the country—from North Carolina to Montana to California—she released her debut album, When We Were Looking, on Yep Roc Records in 2024. Her writing invites listeners into quiet moments of longing, memory, and human connection.
Tom Peabody
With lyrics rooted in nostalgia, time, and tender reflection, Tom Peabody crafts songs that make the personal feel universal. His work balances melancholy with a gentle undercurrent of hope, drawing listeners into moments both intimate and expansive. Though currently based in Brooklyn, Tom's Maine roots run deep—and his songwriting carries the stillness, depth, and introspective beauty of the place he calls home.
Katherine Perkins
A painter and songwriter from coastal Maine, Katherine Perkins writes music that lives at the fringes of Americana—rich melodies, deep grooves, and flashes of wry, gleaming humor. As leader of Brooklyn-based Rose Hips & Ships, Perkins released The Seafarer (2013) and The Colors Now (2020). Her latest album, Being Younger, arrived in June 2024 via Twelve | Eight Records. Katherine's songs move with painterly detail, evoking tide-washed emotional landscapes and biting, tender truths.
Cilla Bonnie
Cilla Bonnie is a bassist, vocalist, and songwriter whose soulful and groove-driven sound invites reflection and calm in equal measure. With over 15 years of touring, recording, and performing across the country, she released August in 2020 and is preparing to share a full-length album in 2026. In addition to her solo work, Cilla plays bass for 2022 NPR Tiny Desk Contest winner Alisa Amador, Portland artist Katie Matzell, and Boston-based soul artist Ali McGuirk. Expect soulful warmth, rhythmic ease, and a presence that radiates sincerity and groove.
