Spice of Life Fundraiser

Want to spice up your palate? Head over to the Terrace at Tibbs Run for the Spice of Life Fundraiser for food insecurity. The tasting event will feature a variety of local restaurants serving up international flavors. It’s happening from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Oct. 5 at the event center in the West Virginia Botanic Garden, 1061 Tyrone Road, Morgantown. Tickets are $50 each and can be purchased at www.unitedwaympc.org/spiceoflife. There are also sponsorship packets available, with opportunities at a variety of giving levels. Restaurants owners interested in participating should contact Nancy or Sarah, or they can call the United Way of Monongalia and Preston Counties at 304-296-7525. Proceeds from the Spice of Life go toward United Way’s Helpful Harvest Food Program. Funds raised will purchase food that will be distributed at local food pantries in Mon and Preston counties.
