Join Spicewood Vineyards for the 18th annual world-famous chili cook-off happening on Saturday February 28, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. The Pair it with the Claret Chili Cook-Off is everyone's favorite party of the year with excellent wine paired with outstanding chili and good times! Date: Saturday, February 28, 2026 Time: 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Venue: Spicewood Vineyards, 1419 Co Rd 409, Spicewood, TX 78669 ; Phone: (830) 693-5328 Tickets: $25 dollars in advance; $30 at the door Details: Each ticket includes a commemorative 18th PIWTC wine glass filled with one complimentary glass of wine. The Spicewood Cabernet Claret is a proprietary, medium-bodied red blend with ripe berry flavors that make it a perfect pairing with spicy Texas chili. Guests will be able to taste chili from more than 25 different competitors and will have a chance to vote for their favorite chili. There will also be judges blind tasting each chili dish to help award the best teams. For heartier appetites, there will be food trucks onsite, and the wine from Spicewood Vineyards is available for purchase by the glass or by the bottle. We are excited to have epic music playing all afternoon long to keep our spirits up.
